Need help designing artwork?

We’ve got a bunch of colourful personalities on our design team, all keen to give your brand an extra kick. Together,
we’ll craft a custom made design you’ll be stoked with. We’ll brainstorm and kick a few cans around and only bite you if you say ‘Arial Bold’! We aspire to fine design! Let’s chat over a few of your ideas and we’ll sort you out with a quote so we can bring your brand to life. We’ll also think what printing technique will be best for your idea.

If you’re after your own style, unique colour, size, material and branding just drop us a line here. This is a great way to personalise anything you want as long as your imagination doesn’t end (or ours for that matter). Lead times are usually 4-10 weeks depending on the product & courier method (sea freight or Air Freight). Express service may apply if needed. We’re known to turn around most products within 30 days with air freight.

Submitting artwork

Got a sweet design of your own that needs a home on a bag? Not a problem. Flick us through your artwork to hello@simplytotes.com.au or attach it in the fast quote form on any product page.

Artwork housekeeping

If possible, we prefer vector artwork in a .EPS or .PDF format. We can also work with .JPG, .BMP, .AI, .PSD. If you’re finding it a mission to find the right files or need some artwork cleaned up, we’ve got you sussed. Artwork fees start at $45 incl. GST per half hour with a 15 minutes minimum. Don’t be that guy who has rubbish artwork on a fine bag.

Branding

We can brand your tote bag in all sorts of crazy ways. Here are few insights to what we can do:

Screen-printing

If you’re thinking about screen-printing the family newsletter, think again. Screen-printing is best suited for going large and is achieved by forcing ink though a mesh screen onto the product. Colour matches are easy when printing on white surfaces, but the darker the surface gets the more difficult it is to get a clean result. It isn’t ideal for logos with half tones in them.

Digital Heat Transfer

Heat transfers give you a much sharper result and are commonly used to brand textile surfaces and bags. They are heat pressed onto the product and produce a permanent bond. However, only approximate colour matches are possible.

Sublimation

Sublimation is a bright idea if you want your colours to be just that. It achieves stunning, vivid, full-colour graphics by heat transferring a digitally printed image onto the product. However, there is limited control over the colour outcomes which makes reproducing colours very difficult. Only certain surfaces and materials can be branded with sublimation printing.

Direct To Garment

The easiest of the lot. DTG is a process of printing onto textiles using specially modified inkjet technology. It’s a viable solution for low-quantity orders, which wasn’t possible previously with the expensive setup process of screen printers. Full-colour graphics can be achieved with DTG and produce up to
600DPI prints.
